Now You See Me... Now You Don't! - Thermal nail art

This look was created wih two thermal polishes. A thermal polish will change its color depending on the temperature. Most thermal polishes have two shades, but the one I wore as a base for this mani actually has three!

I love this look! The left picture is the warmest state, the right is the coldest and the middle picture shows the transition between the two phases.

When it's very cold, all you see is a gorgeous almost black nail with a bit of holographic goodness in it.

These are my first - and only - thermal polishes and I am absolutely in love with them!

Colors used:
bow polish - Mood Creator (base)
bow polish - Hex (polka dots)

Neon watercolor - I turned 19 today!

glow in the dark stuff makes me happy:)
I want to apologize for the weird/unusual picture today. I took this at Starbucks and I kind of liked the look of it, so I decided to keep it for this post as well.

Anyway, it's my birthday! I'm now officially 19 years old. These are my nails. They're not super color accurate. They're actually neon. AND, they glow in the dark! As always, my glow in the dark picture is weird and does not do the actual glow any justice.

Tribute to David Bowie - Rest In Peace, David.

The news of David Bowie's sudden passing has upset and surprised many people yesterday, including me. His music was an integral part of my childhood and there is no doubt that he was an astonishing musician.

I decided to make a design as a kind of tribute to him. Sure, it's an unusual choice of remembering, but nail art has always been and will always be my form of self-expression.

The portrait on my ringfinger is based on this picture.

Colors used:
black, white

Holographic abstraction

Wee, it's my first post in 2016!
I made the resolution to update this blog more this year, so I decided to start working on that today. Here's the result. (Note: I am still going to university, so if I miss a week or two (or a month), that's probably why)
